What are your box office telephone hours?

Because we are trying to keep reasonable ticket prices, we haven’t hired any full-time box office personnel. Therefore, the hours vary where a live person is available. Simply leave your name and number should you get the answering machine and someone will call you back within 24 hours. (It’s usually sooner)

What is included in the ticket price?

All seats – 39.99 plus tax
All tickets for the dinner theatre include your meal with a nonalcoholic beverage like soda,  tea, and coffee; and the live show.

Do I have to purchase dinner and the show or am I able to purchase just show tickets?

The Blue Moon Dinner Theatre offers Show only tickets for 14.99 plus tax
and Show and Dessert only tickets for 19.99 plus tax (includes coffee or soda)
Note: Show Only Ticket Holders and Dessert Only Ticket Holders cannot reserve specific tables, however we will do our very best to give you great seats!

Where’s your seating chart?

If you click on the area for “Buy Tickets” and then again on Purchase Tickets here – A list of available dates will show up on the screen. Pick the Day you are interested in attending and it will show you a seating chart.

When will I receive my tickets?

We do all of our ticketing electronically - so guests need only give their last name when they have purchased tickets and we can take them right to their seat.
E-mail receipts are sent immediately after the transaction in case you need it for your records.

What is the latest time to arrive for dinner?

To guarantee relaxed dining we recommend that you arrive for dinner no later than thirty minutes after the seating time of 6 PM, but you can arrive as late as 7 PM.

Do you offer anything special for guests celebrating special occasions?

We would be happy to announce a special birthday or anniversary during the show announcements at the beginning of the show. Just tell a member of our staff at some point during the evening. The Blue Moon is also now offering bouquets of flowers, birthday cakes, and meal upgrades, available for purchase through the box office with forty-eight (48) hour notice.

Do you offer a vegetarian menu or do you cater to people with specific food allergies?

With forty-eight (48) hour notice, we can offer a vegetarian menu. Please let the box office know when ordering your tickets. If someone in your party has another kind of special dietary request or concern, please contact the box office to let them know at least forty-eight (48) hours before your scheduled dinner date. 423 – 232-1350

What is your cancellation policy?

Tickets are non refundable for any reason. Blue Moon Dinner Theatre will exchange dates on your reservation with a minimum of one day advance notice. There is no fee charged for this service.

What happens if a show is cancelled?

In the event that the theatre must cancel a show for any reason (most likely due to weather), ticketholders will be notified via the contact number provided during the reservation process. Every effort will be made to contact ticketholders as soon as cancellation occurs, which is why it is important that we have current contact information for all guests. Gift certificates will be issued so that guests may choose another show date or return to the theatre at any time in the following year.

Is smoking allowed?

Due to Tennessee Law, smoking is not allowed in our dinner theatre.
We do provide and ashtray under the awning in the front.

Are you handicapped/special needs accessible?

The Blue Moon Dinner Theatre is handicapped accessible. The lobby, tier 3 of the theatre and restrooms are all located on one level, It is helpful to know if you have someone in your party who will be in a wheelchair for the dinner and show so we can arrange the table accordingly and make sure you are on tier 3. Please let us know if you have any other special needs and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Can we rent out the theatre?

Yes, we would be happy to talk with you about renting out a night (or a special showing on a day we don’t usually perform) for your group . We also have other private banquet space available and full in-house catering. Please call for more information. Do you have Wine or Beer?

We are in the process of acquiring a Beer License – in the meantime Blue Moon Dinner Theatre is a BYOB facility and you may bring your own beverage and we will provide the glass and opener – free of charge!

Where are you located?

We are located at 215 east main street in Downtown Johnson City. About one block before the Hands on Museum. On main street between Buffalo and Roan Street.
Many of our guests like to park in the Free – Lit – parking lot located on State Of Franklin Road – Called Downtown Square. From that lot you can take the walk way through to Main Street and be right at our front door
